Christmas Party 2013

Our party went off with a bang. 35 or more Growlies dogs turned up raring to go.

Super trainer Sue, had us all on the floor playing the fool with lots of silly games. I loved the 'Best Mummified Dog' game, dressing our dogs up with rolls of toilet paper. What a mess we made.

Find the Sausage proved to be a big hit with the dogs and no sausages were left over at the end of the game.

Our game of tennis ball and spoon race became really funny with balls bouncing all over the floor. There was a winner but I don't know how it was arrived at.

The judge for fancy dress was dragged in from the room next door unaware of the task ahead. We thanked her for joining in even though she had no chance of saying no.

Thanks to Margaret (Mrs Growlie) for drinks and refreshments and the wash uppers

Our trainer Sue was the hero of the night, on the floor all evening keeping us puffed out doing games - I am looking forward to next years party already.

Regards Peter (Mr Growlie)

PS - JUST THINK FOR A MOMENT... GROWLIES DOGS IN ALL THAT EXCITEMENT, BALLS, SAUSAGES, BEING DRESSED UP, WRAPPED IN PAPER, PEOPLE DASHING FROM CHAIR TO CHAIR... AND THERE WAS NOT EVEN A GROWL, HANDLERS BE PROUD.
